Save St Petroc's

We are a community group based in the small village of Petrockstowe in North Devon and we have come together to try to save our village church, St Petroc's.

Due to its current state of repair, the church has been decommissioned and the congregation has moved to the chapel in the village.

​

The options that we have are that the community finds a viable use for it or the diocese will attempt to sell it either as a residential or commercial property. As a last resort our church could be demolished.

​

Our group is in the process of investigating uses for the building which will benefit the local community and be sustainable into the future.

The purpose of this website is to keep anyone interested up to date with our progress. More sections and pages will be added as the process continues.
